This historic heritage is combined to a rich landscape composed
of oak woods, lands, and fields.
Several marked walking trails will enable you to discover
the flora, fauna a well as traditionnal places of old
rural life like middle age houses, fontains or stone shelters.
The “Terroir de la Truffe” has also conserved
its traditions. During the all year, many exhibitions,
markets and traditionnal events are taking place, without
forgetting the winter truffle market which has given its
name and reputation to our territory.
Thanks to the know-how of local producers, goumets will
appreciate perigourdin specialities such as truffles and
foies gras.
